天国へ To Heaven

先月の13日、義母が天国へ旅立ちました。
On the 13th of last month, Mom (my mother-in-law) went to heaven.
彼女は膵臓ガンと1年以上も戦い、最後は家でホスピスケアを
受けていました。
She fought pancreatic cancer for over a year and had hospice care
at home at the end of her life.
ここ1年の間、化学療法でガンを縮小し、ガン切除の手術をすることを目標に、
副作用に苦しみながら頑張って治療を続けていました。何度も入退院を
繰り返しました。4月には集中治療室での治療さえも乗り越えた、強い母でした。
This past year, she was fighting with a hope to have cancer removal surgery
after taking chemotherapy to shrink the cancer.
She continued the chemo even though she had a lot of side effects.
She went in and out of the hospital many times. She even overcame
ICU in April. She was strong.
義母は自分が苦しい時も、常に周りのことを気遣う優しい人でした。
She was such a sweet person. She thought about others even
when she was suffering.
何度彼女の癒しを祈ったかわかりません。
何度神様の奇蹟を祈ったかわかりません。
でも何より、彼女の救いを祈っていました。
みんなでたくさんの種を彼女の心に蒔きました。
I don't remember how many times we prayed for her to be healed.
I don't remember how many times God did miracles.
However, we prayed the most for her salvation.
A lot of people around her sowed seeds in her life.
そして、祈りが聞かれました！彼女は今天国にイエス様と一緒に居ます。
今は痛みや涙から解放されて、神様を心から賛美していると思います！
Finally, the prayer was answered! Now she is in heaven with Jesus.
She is now free from pain and tears and I think she is worshipping
God from her heart!
正直言うと、この地上でもっと義母と一緒に過ごしたかったです。
彼女に今会えないのは寂しいです。
To tell the truth, I wanted to spend more time with her on the earth.
I miss her so much.
でも、また会える希望があります。
笑顔で溢れている義母にいつかまた会えるのが楽しみです！
However, I have a hope to see her again.
I look forward to seeing her with smiles sometime again!
イエス様ありがとう。心から感謝します！

クリスの誕生日 Chris's Birthday

昨年のクリスの誕生日、義両親と食事をしに行きました。
On Chris's Birthday last year, we went to have dinner with
Mom and Dad.
WDW（ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド）のウィルダネス・ロッジという
ホテルの中にあるレストラン、「アーティスト・ポイント」です。
We went to a restaurant called "Artist Point", which is located
at the Wilderness Lodge hotel in WDW (Walt Disney World).
この辺りには山はないのですが、このホテルは山の中にある感じが
よく出来ていてお気に入りです。
There are no mountains around here, but I like this hotel because
it looks like we are in the mountains.
ホテルの前に居るバッファロー。
Buffaloes that are in front of the hotel.
クリスはバッファローを、私はポークをいただきました。美味しかった！
Chris had buffalo and I had pork. They were delicious!
帰りにWDWの敷地内で鹿に出会いました。
フラッシュで目が光って怖い。（笑）
We saw some deer on the way home on the property of WDW.
They look scary in the flash. :)
クリスの誕生日は7月。すごい時差の更新だ。。。
しばらく昨年の写真の更新が続きます☆
