My Life in Jesus

先週の金曜日から友達ファミリーがオーランドに遊びに来ています。
また明日からはクリスの兄ファミリーも義両親のところに一週間程滞在します。
ということで、なかなかブログが更新出来ません。以前の日記のコメントの
お返事もしていなくてごめんなさい。
Since last Friday, my friend's family is visiting Orlando from Japan.
Also, Chris's brother's family is staying at Mom and Dads' for a week.
So I can't update this blog often. I'm sorry I haven't replied to some
comments in previous diaries.


現在熱帯性暴風フェイがフロリダに上陸していて、今日の夜から明日の朝までが山場。
どうか何事もなく無事通り過ぎてくれますように。
At this time, the tropical storm, Fay is over Florida and it will come
close to us between tonight and tomorrow morning. I pray that it will
go through without causing trouble.

主よ、あなたが私たちの主です。
Lord, you are our Lord.





主よ、どうか義母の身体の痛みを取り払って下さい。
Lord, please take the pain away from Mom's body.

主よ、どうか義母の癌を取り去って下さい。
Lord, please take the cancer away from Mom's body.

主よ、どうかいつも義母が主にあって平安であることが出来ますように。
Lord, I pray that Mom will always have peace in You.

主よ、どうかいつも義母が主にあって喜ぶことが出来ますように。
Lord, I pray that Mom will always have joy in You.

今日この曲、「In Your Freedom」を聞いていました。
I was listening to this song, "In Your Freedom" today.







自分の感情のままに生きていくということが「自由」なんだって以前は思ってた。
I used to think that "Freedom" is to live by your feelings.

でもそれって本当に自由なんだろうか？
But is that really freedom?



イエス様は、私たちを自由にするために、私たちの罪を背負われた。
Jesus carried our sins so that we can be free.

私たちは自由じゃなかったんだ。
We were not free before.



イエス様によっての自由の中で生きること。何て素晴らしい恵みなんだろう！
To live in Your freedom. What a wonderful grace!



今思い出す。
I remember now:

私を造って下さった神様を知った時の喜び。
The joy when I found God, who created me.

私がこの地球上に、この時代に、日本人として生まれたのには
神様の目的があってのことだって知った時の喜び。
The joy when I found out that it was for God's purpose that
I was born Japanese, at this time on the earth.

そしてイエス様によって自由だと知った時の喜び。
The joy when I found out we are free in Christ.



神様、あなたの揺れることのない、変わることのない、
そして止まることのない愛に感謝します。
Dear Lord, I thank you for your love, a love that is unshakeable,
unchangeable, and unending.

4月の結婚記念日に、しつこくまたアニマル・キングダムに行って来ました。
クリスはもうこの頃新しい仕事に就いていたので、今度は私の無料のチケットを使って。（笑）
On our anniversary in April, we went to the Animal Kingdom again.
This time we used my free tickets instead of Chris's since he had
another job. :D

この間の日記でのお勧め（エクスペディション・エベレスト）もそうですが、
「フェスティバル・オブ・ザ・ライオンキング」もお勧めです。
I recommend the "Festival of the Lion King" as well as the one
I recommended in the previous post (Expedition Everest).




この日もすごく混んでました。
It was crowded that day as well.




パレードが青空に映えてキレイでした。
The contrast between the sky and the parade was beautiful.





ディナーは、本当は「ジーコ」（アフリカ料理）でいただくはずだったんです。
予約をしたのですが、確か前日に予約をしたため8時しか空いていませんでした。
それまで夕食は待つつもりだったのですが、すっかりお腹を空かした私たちは
その予約をキャンセルし、パーク内の「ヤック＆イェティ」で食事をすることにしました。
We were going to have dinner at "Jiko" at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
We made a reservation there, but since we made it the day before,
there was only seating left for an 8 o'clock dinner.
We were going to wait to eat until we got to Jiko, but we had to cancel
our reservation because we were too hungry to wait anymore.
We decided to eat at a restaurant in the park called "Yak & Yeti".



アジアンなお料理だったのですが、味も良く値段もリーズナブルで良かったです☆
It was asian food. The food tasted good and the prices were reasonable☆



今年は3周年。神様、クリスと私を夫婦にして下さって感謝します。
いつも私たちの真ん中におられ、夫婦関係を祝福して下さること、ありがとうございます。
This is our 3rd anniversary this year. Dear Lord, thank you for putting us
together as husband and wife. Thank you for holding us together and
thank you for blessing our husband-and-wife relationship.

そしてクリス、私をたくさん愛してくれてありがとう☆
And Sweetheart, thank you for loving me so much☆

もう約半年前になりますが（笑）、「Dixie Crossroads」というシーフードの
レストランに義母の誕生日に行きました。
It's almost six months ago (:D), we went to a seafood restaurant called
"Dixie Crossroads" for Mom's birthday.



ここでは地元でとれるRock Shrimp（日本語訳が見つかりませんでした。）が有名で、
私はそのフライがお気に入りです。（肝心の食べ物の写真を撮るの忘れました。（泣））
They are famous for Rock Shrimp and I love to have eat them fried.
(I forgot to take pictures of the food. :( )

そして家でケーキをいただきました。これはジャーマン・チョコレート・ケーキです。
（穴はろうそくを抜いた跡です。）
Then we had a cake at home. It's a German Chocolate Cake.
(The holes on the cake are from the candles.)





義母は今、膵臓ガンの治療をしています。色々な薬の副作用で具合が悪くなったり
することもあります。自分のことでいっぱいいっぱいなはずなのに、それでも義母は
いつも周りの人たちのことを考え、私たちのことも色々なことを通して祝福してくれるのです。
Mom is now having medical treatment for pancreatic cancer. She sometimes
gets sick as a side effect of the treatment. She could be thinking about
only herself, but she thinks about others always and blesses us so much
through many things.


どうか天のお父様、イエス様の御名によって義母のガンを癒して下さい。
義母があなたに希望と信仰を置き、毎日喜びと平安で満たされますように。
このことを通して、神様が讃えられますように！
Dear Lord, please heal Mom's cancer in Jesus's holy name.
Please help Mom to be able to put her hope and faith in You and be filled
with joy and peace every day. Through this, let God be glorified!

ディズニーでお仕事をするにあたって、まずはこのキャスティングビルに向かいました。
I went to this casting building to try to get the job at Disney.



ここでは書類に記入をする他、ディズニーを紹介するビデオを観たり、
面接をしたり、雇用の手続きを行ったりしました。
I applied for the job, watched a video to learn a little bit about Disney,
had an interview and filled out the paperwork after I got the job.


そしてここがトレーニング会場。ディズニーの知識や配属場所に合った
トレーニングを行いました。
This is the building that you have training in. I learned some things
about Disney and special training for my new role.




そして数日のトレーニングの後、一人でマジック・キングダムへ。
ここが私の新しい職場になると思うと何だか不思議でした。
After I had training for a couple of days, I went to the Magic Kingdom
by myself. It was very interesting to think that this place would be
my new workplace.






働いていて改めて思うこと。「人が好き！」なんだなあって。ゲストと話をするのが
本当に楽しい。たくさんの世界中のあらゆる場所からの人との出会いがある。
I rethought of this after I started working, "I love people!". I really enjoy
talking with guests. You can see many people from all over the world.

ディズニーに来る人は、キャストのゲストへの対応にある程度の期待を持って
来ていると思う。その期待に応えたいし、楽しい思い出を持って帰ってもらいたいって
心からそう思います。
I think a lot of guests who come to Disney have certain expectations of
how they should be treated by cast members. I would like to be able to meet
their expectations and I would like guests to take great memories with them
as they leave.

でも何より、主に仕えるように仕えたい。言葉や人間関係でチャレンジは
あるけれど、神様が与えて下さったそのチャレンジは、私が主に拠り頼むために、
そして私が主の器として用いられるために練られるためだもの。
But most of all, I would like to serve as I serve the Lord. There are some
challenges with language and relationships, but those things are challenging
me now because God wants me to acknowledge Him and wants to shape me
as a vessel of the Lord.
