感謝 Gratitude

私たちが生きてることって当たり前のことじゃない。
It's not a given that we are alive.
実は先日事故に遭った。交差点で信号待ちを
していたところ、私たちの車の2台後ろのSUVが
私たちの後ろの車にぶつかり、その衝撃で
今度は私たちに衝突。
The other day, we got into an accident.
We were waiting for a light to turn green when
an SUV hit the car behind us, which then hit us.
クリスも私も鞭打ちの後遺症もなく、他の運転手も
怪我はなかった。
Chris and I didn't get whiplash and the other
drivers weren't hurt either.
もしもっと強い衝撃で当てられてたら、交差点に
入って来た車とぶつかっていたかもしれない。
If we had gotten hit harder, we might have been
pushed into the intersection and been hit by an
oncoming car.
私たちは神様に生かされてるんだって改めて思ったよ。
This situation reminded me that our lives are
sustained by God.
神様、私たちを守って下さってありがとう。
Dear Lord, thank you for protecting us.
そしていつも当たり前のようにあると思っている
ことにも感謝の思いが溢れてきました。
This situation made me think about how I
should be thankful to God for things that I
usually take for granted.
素晴らしい夫をありがとう。
Thank you for my wonderful husband.
家族と友達をありがとう。
Thank you for my family and friends.
住む家と食べる物を与えて下さってありがとう。
Thank you for giving us a place to live and food to eat.
イエス様によって私たちを救って下さってありがとう。
新しい命に生きることが出来ること、神様を知ることが
出来ること、すごい喜びです。
Thank you for saving us through Jesus Christ.
It is my joy to live a new life and to know God.
与えられたこの命、イエス様のためにぴかぴかに光を
輝かせながら全う出来ますように。
I pray that my life, given to me by God, will be a shining
light for Jesus until the end.

1年 One Year

ディズニーの話題ばかりで恐縮です。。。
I'm afraid I'm talking a lot about Disney recently...
お出掛けの時となると職業柄どうしても
WDW（ウォルト・ディズニー・ワールド）に行くことが多いのです。
そういう時にしかなかなかカメラを持ち歩いていないので、
写真を載せようとするとブログの話題がそればかりになってしまい。。。
We are able to go to Disney so much because it is one of
the benefits of my job. We spend many of our days off there
and I always carry my camera, so I tend to talk about
WDW when I want to put pictures on my blog...
実は、WDWで働き始めて1周年を迎えました！
先日のスタッフミーティングで突然マネージャーから
アナウンスが！名札につける1周年記念のピンを頂きました。
Actually, it's been a year since I started working at WDW!
At a staff meeting the other day my managers announced,
without prior notice, that I had reached that milestone, and
gave me a one-year anniversary pin.
フルタイムで働いていないため、もしかしたらピンは頂けないかもと
思っていたので嬉しかったです。ピンそのものより、
新天地で1年間働いたという達成感が大きかったです。
I thought I might not be able to get a pin because I only
work there part time. I was so happy I got one.
It's actually more than just getting a pin, I was happy that
I was able to work for a year in this new land.
神様、私に仕事を与えて下さってありがとうございます。
私を用いて下さって感謝します。どうかこれからもイエス様の
愛を伝えるために用いられますように。
Dear Lord, thank you for giving me my job.
Thank you for using me for your purpose. I pray that
I will be used to share Your love more and more.

スイート・ルーム Guest Suite

突然シンデレラ城のスイート・ルームを訪ねる（泊まるではありません。（笑））
ツアーに当たりました。
Unexpectedly, I won a tour to visit the guest suite in Cinderella's Castle.
I didn't get to stay, but I did get to look around. :)
これはまず城内のエレベーターを上り、降りたところの床です。
とってもキレイでした。割と狭かったので、周りの人の足が写ってます。（笑）
This is the floor after we got out of the elevator in the castle.
It was beautiful. It was not that big. You can see people's feet around it. :)
エレベーターホールにあったシンデレラのガラスの靴。
The glass slippers that were in the elevator hall.
ベッド・ルーム。色が落ち着いていてすごく綺麗でした。
This is the bedroom. The color was calm and beautiful.
暖炉とテレビ。
The fire place and TV.
ベッド・ルームの奥にあるお部屋。
The room behind the bedroom.
ここから見て右手にジャグジー、左手に洗面台とシャワー・ルームがあります。
There was a jacuzzi on the right, and a sink and shower room on the left.
シャワー。
The shower.
洗面台。
The sink.
そしてジャグジー。
The jacuzzi.
このジャグジーの壁と天井（星になってる。）に感動☆
I was impressed by the wall and the ceiling (There are stars.)☆
神様、素敵なサプライズをありがとうございます☆

ツアーに当たりました。

ボート Boat

クリスの誕生日に2人でゆっくり休日を過ごすことにしました。
We decided to spend time relaxing, just the two of us,
on Chris's birthday.
まず行ったのは有名なホットケーキ屋さん。
First, we went to a famous pancake restaurant.
中はこんな感じ。一見お好み屋さんみたいでしょ☆
It looks like this inside. Don't you think it looks like
an okonomiyaki restaurant?
2種類の生地を頼みました。美味しかった！
We ordered two kinds of dough. They were delicious!
お腹いっぱいになった後は食後の運動に散歩。
After we got full, we went for a walk.
この木、私を今花粉症で悩ませているヒノキです。（笑）
This is the tree that makes trouble for me. I'm allergic to its pollen. :)
散歩の後はボートに乗りました。
We rented a canoe after the walk.
気持ち良かった！神様、2人の時間をありがとう！
